Cancellation: Due to our size, any cancellation affects us significantly. Consequently, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy.
At the time of booking you will be charged 50% of your total room rate as a deposit. This deposit will be refunded less a $35 processing fee if we receive notification of cancellation up to seven days prior to your arrival.
We do not refund deposits on cancellations made within seven days of arrival. Cancellations made three days before check-in or less will be charged the full amount of the booking. We make every effort to rebook the space, and if we are successful, we will refund your payments.
All cancellations must be made via email or a phone call. Your reservation is not canceled until you get a response via email or phone call by the owners. There are no refunds for early departures.
Whole house reservations must be canceled 30 days prior to the reservation start with the $35 processing fee deducted from your deposit. Less than 30 days’ notice will not receive the deposit refund.
Accessibility: The Lodge and the Cottage guest rooms are located on the second floor of the house, the Cabin is located on the first floor. Please be aware that the entrance to the house requires use of steps.
Booking: We accept major credit and debit cards, cash, check, and gift certificates issued by us or by the Midwest Association of Independent Inns (MWInns). A two-night minimum is required for Friday or Saturday reservations from Memorial Day weekend through October 31 (except when only one night is available in our calendar). Exceptions may be made five days prior to the weekend. Please call. If you book all three rooms, a 12 percent discount will be applied.
Breakfast: We strive to provide our guests with a great stay and offer a delicious breakfast each morning that they are with us. For this reason, we have a set menu each morning of the items that will be offered during our breakfast service from 8 am to 10 am. Please let us know your allergies and dietary needs in advance so we can do our best to accommodate you during your stay. We are not allergen-free, but we do everything we can to keep you safe. Should you decide that you do not want what is served for breakfast, there are plenty of eating options in the area
Check In/Check Out: Check-in time is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. We can accommodate early or late check-ins for $10 per hour. You will have access to all the common areas and amenities, but your room may not be available until 3 p.m. Check-out time is 11 a.m. We can accommodate late check-outs (after 11 a.m.) for $10 per hour. You will have access to all of the common areas and amenities, but your room will still need to be vacated by 11 a.m.
Children: Stays are for guests age 12 and up. If your party rents all three rooms, your children are welcome, but we do not have baby and toddler equipment. Each room must be occupied by a guest over the age of 18.
Damage to House Property: Management reserves the right to recover costs from any guest in the event of deliberate or unintentional damage to the inn property.
No Smoking: There is a 100% No Smoking Policy inside the house and in your room and on the property, this includes vaping. There will be a $200 charge if any evidence of smoke is detected in the house or your room.
Occupancy: Quoted rates do not include tax and fees. Rates are based on double occupancy. Our Lodge room can accommodate two additional guests. For each additional guest, there is a $35/person charge each night of your stay.
Pets: We are animal lovers and have a house cat, but we are currently unable to accommodate guest pets in the inn. Our cat is not allowed in guest rooms but roams the common areas. If you have a cat allergy, let us know and she will be restricted to thurity
